COSTS, CONDITIONS, & QUALIFICATION
A basic monthly rent is charged for the apartment along with an Assisted Living Service fee. The amount is dependent upon whether the resident is qualified for assistance by a Medicaid waiver.
The resident must be at least sixty-two (62) years of age, eligible to reside in public housing, and needing assistance with activities of daily living.
All eligible residents must not have a contagious disease, be bed-ridden, suffer from Alzheimer’s disease, require mental health treatment for a mental illness, or experience moments of confusion or disorientation that might result in wandering from the facility.
SERVICES AND AMENITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
- Three full meals seven days per week. Special diets included.
- Two separate dining schedules to choose from.
- Supervision of self-administration of medication.
- Housekeeping and laundry.
- Over 12 hours of activities each week.
- Assistance with activities of daily living as needed such as eating, bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulation, transferring, and toileting.
- 24-hour supervision by certified staff.
- Monitoring of residents’ health conditions by a Registered Nurse.
- Coordination of all health services.
- Utilities and basic cable included.
- Emergency call response system.
- Daily safety checks (as frequently as every 2 hours if needed).
- Monthly on-site podiatry services.
- Transportation coordination to health care visits.
